ABOUT ME

Adam Hurst - Self Portrait

Adam Hurst is a photographer, currently established in the North West of England.

His practice started back in 2012, creating visual narratives and surreal portraiture which were enhanced by his own dreams, thoughts and use of self expression. Growing up with a performative background also majorly influenced the development of his practice.

Since then his curiosity has transformed his work, combining his newly discovered interest in identity with photography to assist his exploration of concepts such as mental health, stereotypes and social standards.
