I'm Adam Hurst and I'm a 22 year old photographer originally from the North West of England. I'm currently established in Cornwall where I'm underway in my third and final year at Falmouth University studying BA (Hons) Photography.
I started taking photographs back in 2012, creating visual narratives and surreal portraiture which were enhanced by my own dreams, thoughts and use of self expression. Growing up with a performative background also majorly influenced the development of my practice.
Since then my curiosity has transformed my work, combining my newly discovered interest in identity with photography to assist my exploration of concepts such as mental health, stereotypes and social standards.
I have also gained a vast amount of experience with a variety of photographic equipment and I am highly competent in the use of various softwares including Capture One and Adobe Photoshop, skills I consider to be some of my key strengths. On top of this, I also hold an extensive interest in fashion, advertising and social media.
