Merry Christmas for Monday folks! Hope everyone had an absolute blast, drank plenty of mulled wine and tackled that Christmas dinner to your heart's content.
I have to admit, within all the exhilaration of the Christmas reunions and celebrations I've not been on top form with my photography this last week, mainly because my camera becomes a prime distraction for me when I'm out and about and my communication skills fly completely out the window, but in spite of that, it's so nice to be home! I've spent a large portion of this week in Liverpool surprisingly, taking in all the festivity the city has to offer. My time there started off pretty foggy down at Albert Docks for some ice skating and progressed into countless ventures around the Christmas markets and shops.
Christmas day itself was very chilled; very much how I hoped it would be, not doing much except exchanging presents with family, scoffing our faces with turkey, roast potatoes and all the other glorious essentials to a Christmas dinner and finally settling down in front of the telly to watch some Christmas specials, although we didn't stick to our usual tradition of watching a Harry Potter movie this year.
All in all, a great day with great company.
2017 has been one hell of a year and one I won't be forgetting anytime soon. Hard to believe this time next week we'll be in 2018!? That means it's almost a year ago that I launched my website...my how times flies. All the best folks as we proceed into a positive and healthy new year ahead.
