After a very rocky few month's I made the long eight and a half hour journey back up the country. Starting at 9am on Monday morning I set off from Penryn Station and three changes later I arrived home around half six and ready for the Christmas break! It's honestly felt like an eternity since I've been home, and no wonder seeing as well I've not been back in eight months which for me is a long time without seeing family and friends. Don't get me wrong, Falmouth is practically my second home now and means a great deal to me, including all the glorious people I've met in the two and a half years I've lived there, but once a Northern, your always a Northern and that's that! I think its something we put in the pies??

Naturally, my body was completely drained as it would be after any eight hour journey, but it never fails to make me laugh getting off the last train to see my parents on the platform waiting for me, with my Mum looking all giddy like a child on Christmas day, waiting to open that first present. After getting all the latest northern goss I rested up and was straight out the next day to see my two best buddies as a catch up was thoroughly needed - drinks and all!

All that's left now is to let the Christmas celebrations finally commence and the remaining reunions unfold!
