After a very rocky few month's I made the long eight and a half hour journey back up the country. Starting at 9am on Monday morning I set off from Penryn Station and three changes later I arrived home around half six and ready for the Christmas break! It's honestly felt like an eternity since I've been home, and no wonder seeing as well I've not been back in eight months which for me is a long time without seeing family and friends. Don't get me wrong, Falmouth is practically my second home now and means a great deal to me, including all the glorious people I've met in the two and a half years I've lived there, but once a Northern, your always a Northern and that's that! I think its something we put in the pies??

Naturally, my body was completely drained as it would be after any eight hour journey, but it never fails to make me laugh getting off the last train to see my parents on the platform waiting for me, with my Mum looking all giddy like a child on Christmas day, waiting to open that first present. After getting all the latest northern goss I rested up and was straight out the next day to see my two best buddies as a catch up was thoroughly needed - drinks and all!

All that's left now is to let the Christmas celebrations finally commence and the remaining reunions unfold!

WEEK 37 - 20/12/2017

It's my third week back in Falmouth and yet I can already feel the stress levels rising...is that normal seeing as I haven't even started back Uni yet?? I can already feel the deadlines breathing down the back of my neck.

On a brighter note, Anneka turned the big old 21 this week which gave everyone a good reason to celebrate and drink all the available booze. The troops were assembled and we head straight to the Holy Land that is The Stables, resulting in delicious pints of sweet, sweet Cornish cider and a freshly baked pizza. Now, of course, any 21st birthday results in a glorious night out on the town and as we live in Falmouth, no club comes close to the strangely addictive Club International....mainly because there isn't a vast amount of options to choose from. However, if you put the awful odour and sticky carpet aside, it usually ends up being an eventful evening. Speaking on behalf of Anneka, I'm pretty confident in saying she had an excellent night.

Happy Birthday again Bud!
